2020-Best of 24 Hour Drum 2020 Documentary
A celebration of Sea to Sky's Indigenous Youth Council's work from 2015 - 2020 is brought together in this compilation of highlights. The Youth Council is a district wide group who work throughout the year to support the local community through volunteering and awareness advocacy. The year culminates in the annual 24 Hour Drum event, youth led and youth driven, a powerful vision of youth taking action to make the changes they see are needed in the world. This year, with the event cancelled due to Covid19, the documentary draws on footage taken during the planning of the event early in the year, and past events, to tell a powerful story of the fight against racism.
